Notes from Bridget: Here is the long awaited horizontal Day Purse. I named it the Derby. No flap for all of you who asked. :)) This Derby Bag is made from a beautiful felted wool. Simply Luscious! This fabric will go with so much. I would suggest hand washing it and hang dry. This bag fits the kindle and Ipad mini perfectly along with other essentials for the day. These bags are great companions for birding,hiking and long strolls through museums.
Exterior: Heavy Felted Wool exterior. Base of bag is made from 1000 denier nylon and 420 pack cloth. I only use Ykk zippers. There is a slip pocket on one side and a zipper pocket on the other. The shoulder strap is 1" nylon webbing and adjusts to 56" at its longest.
Interior: The inside of this bag is lined with a 420 pack cloth. Great for helping you see and also very easy to clean. There are four slip pockets and a key tether. All interior raw edges are covered and sewn with nylon grosgrain. Your bag will go far with you.
